Mr. Baughman is the Principal for Integrity Source.
He is an Engineering Degreed & Licensed California Engineering and
General Contractor. He is extensively experienced with the adjustment of
property casualty losses (earthquake damages, fire, storm and earth movement),
investigation and analysis of defective construction claims, construction
management, contractor due-diligence, real estate disclosures and major
component studies for homeowner associations all over California & Hawaii.
Assignments have encompassed re-construction estimates, code analysis,
standard of care & practice, causation, repair methodology and scheduling.
Responsibilities have included assisting attorneys in both plaintiff and
defendant situations: including testimony in insurance appraisal, arbitration,
deposition and court. He serves as
a mediator, appraiser and arbitrator for the construction & insurance
industry. Responsible for active
construction management projects and construction projects involving new
construction, remodels and repairs.
Principal of Integrity Source (1994 to Present). Consultation and construction responsibilities include
overall management of Integrity Source, project oversight, construction
management, estimating and project scheduling.
Director of Construction Services Division for The Helsing Group
(1992-1994). Consulting and construction
responsibilities included overall management of the construction services
division, project oversight, construction management, estimating and project
scheduling.
Project Manager for High-Point Rendel (1989-1992). Responsible
for consultation & project oversight and construction management projects in
the Los Angeles, Bay Area & Florida (Residential & Commercial).
Responsibilities include conducting and supervising estimates, project
scheduling and contract management.
Associate Consultant with Construction Technology & Data Corporation
(1986-1989).
Responsible for consultation & construction management projects involving
tenant improvement, repair and rehabilitation (Residential & Commercial).
Tradesman (1983-1986).
Responsibilities varied by construction site & job.
Typical trade functions included new construction, remodeling and tenant
improvement, contract management, project oversight, framing, roofing, plumbing,
electrical, cabinet making, finish carpentry, foundation restoration, concrete
& painting.
